Janice W. Pankey
2022 - Present
Welcome to the official website of the Richmond Metropolitan Chapter of The Charmettes, Incorporated! Our chapter was organized in 1991 as the fifteenth chapter of The Charmettes, Incorporated; and is comprised of members from the city of Richmond and the surrounding counties. This year, we are celebrating our 33rd year as a sisterhood of dedicated women committed to improving the quality of life within our communities through advocacy, education, service, and support for cancer research.
I am Janice Pankey, and it is a distinct honor and privilege for me to serve as the 10th president of the Richmond Metropolitan Chapter. I was introduced to The Charmettes, Incorporated by one of the founding members, Charmette Frankie Drayton Thomas, and Charmette Betty McDonald. In 2000, I became a member of the organization and was inducted into the Broward County Fort Lauderdale Chapter. In 2009, I transferred my membership to the Richmond Metropolitan Chapter after moving into the area. I began serving as the Chapter President in 2022.
Thank you for visiting our site. I encourage you to follow us, support us and join us in our endeavors as we support those seeking a cure for cancer. We believe and pray that a cure will be found in our lifetime.

Past Richmond Metropolitan Chapter Presidents
Since our chapter was established in 1991, we have had ten wonderful and committed members who have served in the role of Chapter President. We are truly grateful to each of them for their service and dedication.
